I hope they were happy memories! Antigua is cool but, as you'll see when I write more, we weren't really loving our first family travel experience in Guatemala and Central America. Antigua was like a thriving metropolis after our quiet island life in New Zealand. The buildings are stunning in Antigua but Granada in Nicaragua is more relaxing to hang out in and the architecture is fabulous there too. We are really a bunch of country bumpkins:)
